Freshest lobster roll around. Pricey. But worth going back each year. Nice outdoor seating under umbrella with ocean view. Onion rings are made on site. Hot, crispy and lightly battered. The locale has been updated this past year. Bathroom is roomy and handicapped accessible. There is now a long ramp in the front, too.
5 STAR Lobstahhh roll. I’ve had my fair share of lobster rolls and this place was the best. Toasted bun loaded with meat. Perfect end to our last night in Wells. We will be back!
Service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. My son wanted a full lobster and he left very happy. The food and my son are the inspiration behind my first ever post. Well deserved!
2024 update: The whole place has been redesigned, and it looks wonderful, but boy, the lobster is still the best. It was the only place we visited twice. Fine people and great care with delivering the best lobster I have ever had. Words can not describe the lobster meal, but it was extremely good. One of the reasons I'll be back in Maine. They deliver Maine Lobster anywhere in the US, I believe. You haven't had a lobster till you have one from the Wells Beach Lobster Pound!
Foggy today, but stillness to be at the beach. Not much to see. Had a nice walk anyways.
They sure know their lobsters and more. My wife and I had a chix lunch. The lobsters had just molted, so the shells were soft, so we learned. I also had steamed clams. If the kids finish their food, they sell ice cream. They sell a wide variety of lobsters from 1lb personal size to giant lobsters for a family feast. They also sell the meats to go. Parking is easy and it’s got an ocean view to enjoy during lunch.
Incredible! Huge lobsters that you choose right out of their huge tanks. Inside seating available, nothing fancy, just pure lobster bliss...the way us people from Maine like it! I took my wife Dr Naomi Wolf there last year for her first REAL Maine lobster experience with our late dog Mushroom
Stopped by as we were driving up the Maine coast. Tasty seafood at a quaint seaside market/restaurant - satisfied our lobster roll cravings. Excellent prices for the serving size. Clean restaurant with a friendly staff.
